On 31st august 2017 in the District Office of Barcs of Government Office of Somogy County held focus group interviews with colleagues and entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations in connection with optimization of processes in public administration.
It was organized within the Croatian – Hungarian cooperated CATCH project which is financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
The “Co-operation between Public Administration in Cross-Border regions of Croatia and Hungary for Serving Citizens Better project’s main beneficiary is the Government Office of Somogy County and additional beneficiaries from Croatia is the State Administration Office of Osijek-Baranja County and the State Administration Office of Međimurje County. The development of public administration within the Hungary – Croatia Cross-Border Cooperation Project 2014-2020 main goals is exchange experience between the partners, capacity building actions and ensure to both country’s citizens get more better public administration services.
The District Office of Barcs held the first organization level interviews organized by Assistant Registrar and CATCH project member Katalin Kornélia Takács and supported by Registrar József Racsek. On the meeting the previously trained coworkers of the Office’s certain divisions presented the cases with cross-border relevance. The meeting provided opportunity to evaluate cases, articulate development potentials and wording recommendations. The group interview was the first step of the process optimization within CATCH project to develop public administration processes and services.
On afternoon held the focus group interview aimed need assessment in connection with process optimization in which the costumers of the public administration offices were given the opportunity to share experiences and express development suggestions.
At the event participants from nonprofit organizations were Mrs. Csende from Croatian Nationality Local Government of City of Barcs and Regional Croatian Local Government of Somogy County, Tibor Kocsis from Entrepreneur Center of Somogy County and Gábor Rideg from Barcs and its Region’s Entrepreneurs Center and production manager of Dráva-Coop Zrt as well. From the business sector persons like whom begun they business activities in Hungary as Croatian nationals or Hungarian entrepreneurs with cross-border activities of costumers shared experiences. The participant corporations were beside the Dráva-Coop Zrt the Spa and Recreational Center of Barcs, the COVIC Kft., the Elektro-Bilogore Bt and the ZORAH KER Kft as well.
At the meeting the participants shared development opportunities of variety of industry (e.g. agriculture, tourism) beside the public administration.
