On 7th march 2018 in Čakovec, Croatia held the Co-operation between Public Administration in Cross-Border regions of Croatia and Hungary for Serving Citizens Better, CATCH Project’s second permanent workgroup meeting funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
Before the professional/operative meeting the Registrar of Međimurje County’s State Administration Office Mr. Branimir Posavec welcomed the guests than the Government Appointee of the Government Office of Somogy County Mr. Zsolt Neszményi voiced in his speech that thanks to the Project, number of public administrative cooperation interface will emerge to great satisfaction for both parties. From Croatia Mrs. Registrar Kata Kovačević (State Administration Office of Osijek-Baranja County) and from the Croatian Ministry of State Administration Mrs. Secretary Katica Prpić shared their thoughts.
In the permanent workgroup meeting the group members first dealt with the project’s actual challenges than number of operative matter with in conjunction with the project’s timeframe, scheduling and financing. The aforementioned include the collection of good practices of cross-border public administration to ensure the public information campaign’s success, a bilingual public manual and a fact-finding trip to Hungary in the near future. In parallel to professional/operative meeting the leaders of the public administration offices held an executive meeting in the presence of the Prefect of Međimurje County Mr. Posavec Matija and his deputy Mr. Grivec Josip.
